SnapFull — Privacy Policy

Browser extension for full-page screenshots · Last updated: 9 September 2026

The short version: SnapFull builds your screenshots on your own computer and never uploads them anywhere. It has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. The only network request it ever makes is checking a licence key, and only if you bought the paid upgrade.

What SnapFull does not collect

SnapFull does not collect, transmit, sell or share any of the following:

There is no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting and no advertising in SnapFull. The developer never sees your screenshots or the pages you capture.

What happens to your screenshots

When you click the SnapFull button, the extension captures the visible area of the current tab several times while scrolling, and joins those images into one.

All of this happens on your own computer, inside your browser. The images are never uploaded to any server.

The captured image is held in your browser's local extension storage while you are working with it, so the result page can be reloaded without losing your capture. It is deleted:

You can also remove it at any time by removing the extension.

In an Incognito window SnapFull runs as a separate instance and keeps nothing on disk at all.

The only network request

If — and only if — you buy SnapFull PRO, the extension sends your licence key to the payment provider that issued it (Gumroad, api.gumroad.com) to confirm the key is valid. This happens when you activate the key and periodically afterwards.

Only the licence key is sent. No page content, no URLs, no personal data.

Gumroad processes the purchase itself and acts as the seller of record; their privacy policy applies to the purchase: gumroad.com/privacy

Settings

Your preferences (JPG quality, PDF layout) and your licence key are stored in your browser's own extension storage. If you have Chrome sync enabled, Chrome may sync those settings between your devices, as it does with your other browser settings. That transfer is handled by Chrome, not by SnapFull.

Permissions

SnapFull does not run in the background on websites and does not read pages you have not asked it to capture.

Children

SnapFull is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the current version is always the one published at this address.
